Viburnum dentatum, commonly known as Southern Arrow Wood, is a robust and dependable deciduous shrub that possesses both beauty and strength. It displays abundant clusters of creamy-white flowers arranged in flat clusters, enhancing its visual appeal from late spring to late summer. These blossoms serve as a magnet for butterflies, bumblebees, and other native bees. Following the flowering period, the shrub produces blue-black berries that serve as a delightful feast for birds and other wildlife. With its slender, elongated branches that grow in an upward direction, Viburnum dentatum is adorned with dark green leaves that have an oval shape, coarse teeth, and a shiny appearance. These leaves measure approximately 4 inches (10 cm) in length.
