This grass is incredibly resilient and will hold up throughout the winter unless there is a lot of snowfall. For birds, this offers crucial cover on the coldest winter days. In terms of design, this grass is quite versatile; it works well as a specimen, in huge quantities, for screening, next to ponds or streams, or inside of big containers.
