Japanese Cedar 'Globosa Nana', Dwarf Japanese Cedar
Cryptomeria japonica 'Globosa Nana' (Japanese Cedar) is a dwarf evergreen conifer with a tidy, compact, dome-shaped form and pendulous branchlets covered in vivid blue-green awl-shaped leaves. In the heat of summer, the leaves are tightly appressed to the shoots and turn yellowish green. In the winter, they may become bronze to rusty red. This Dwarf Japanese Cedar grows slowly, 3-4 in. (7-10 cm) every year, and produces an attractive specimen.
