Compact herbaceous perennial called Sunset Cutie Blanket Flower has tall stems and lance-shaped, dark green foliage.  If deadheaded, the summer-long blooms, which resemble large bronze-red daisies and have petals with golden edges and dark crimson global seedheads, endure until the first frost.  prefers rich, dry to medium-dry, well-drained soils and full sun.  tolerant of drought once established.
