White Oak

A fully-mature White Oak is a majestic tree that can grow to a towering 135 feet tall, though 80-100 feet is more common. It is a slow-growing tree with lobed leaves that turn brown to red in the autumn. White Oaks prefer moist, well-drained acid soils and thrive in full sun. They are drought tolerant once established but do not do well in poorly draining soils.
