Frey’s natural humus has a base of mushroom compost combined with aged pine fines. It is perfect for breaking up clay soils and adding organic matter for increased soil biology. Humus rich soil helps plants grow more easily. It enables plants to manage excessive acid or alkaline soil conditions, it improves soil aeration and drainage, its rich, dark color attracts the sunlight and helps to warm up cold soils in early spring, and because of its high ratio of microorganisms, it helps the plants better absorb the soil’s nutrients.
