Pin Oak

Pin Oaks get their name from their many pin-like branchlets that protrude from the main branches. A Pin Oak is different from other oaks in that it does not have heavy branches that run horizontal but rather narrow branches that arch out. Pin Oaks prefer moist, acidic well-drained soils and full sun.
