This Japanese maple has one of the most outstanding fall colors of any of the palmatum cultivars. ‘Tobiosho’ starts out with a bright golden yellow in the fall. Just as quickly as the Japanese maple tree is engulfed in bright gold, oranges begin to spread throughout the tree. At the point where it seems like yellow may be taken over by orange, bright scarlets start to appear on the tree giving a multi-colored autumn display that is second to none.
