Itea is a genus of around 10 shrubs and small trees more commonly known as Sweetspire. This durable shrub grows well in either sun or shade and requires minimal care. Sweetspire flowers profusely and turns out spectacular color in the fall and into winter. It’s also deer resistant and attracts bees and butterflies.
