Known for being low maintenance Coreopsis is also a drought-tolerant, long-blooming plant. Coreopsis is native to North America and it will produce bright showy flowers all summer long. Bees and butterflies are attracted to the blooms while birds and other wildlife prefer the seeds during the fall and winter. Coreopsis grows in a mounded shape making it great for beds and borders.
