Spring Grove Arborvitae is a fast-growing selection of the beautiful, striking North American native Western arborvitae (Thuja plicata). That makes it an ideal choice for planting a lush privacy hedge that creates a storybook setting for any home. Though Western arborvitae aren’t quite as hardy as their Eastern counterpart (Thuja occidentalis), they do show better deer resistance, so with protection, may be a better choice as for an evergreen hedge for those who struggle with deer damage to their plants and landscapes.
