Rudbeckia triloba 'Prairie Glow' is a bushy, short-lived perennial with masses of vivid red-orange blooms, decorated with yellow tips and contrasting dark chocolate cones. It grows beautifully in the late-season garden. They rise above bronzy purple, robust stems and bloom profusely from mid-summer until frost, regardless of the weather. They offer spectacular and long-lasting color in the landscape. Through the winter, the basal rosette of three-lobed leaves endures, forming a lovely ground cover. Extremely simple to grow, this plant can naturally naturalize and persist in the garden because of its freedom to self-seed.
