Wormwood, Powis Castle #1
Artemisia 'Powis Castle'
Wormwood 'Powis Castle', Artemisia arborescens x Absinthium, Wormwood 'Powys Castle', Artemisia arborescens 'Brass Band', Artemisia arborescens 'Powis Castle'
As drought-tolerant as can be, the ferny graygreen foliage of ‘Powis Castle,’ is more upright than Silver Mound at 2–3’, and can even be clipped to form a low hedge. Tolerant of poor, sandy soil, the aromatic foliage only demands well-drained soil. Multi-talented Wormwood is gorgeous in the white garden, as foliage in a cut or dried arrangement, and shines next to darkleafed perennials in the border or rock garden. Plant 18” apart.
