The Chinese Fringe Flower, or Loropetalum chinense Jazz Hands Dwarf Pink, is a tiny, bushy evergreen shrub with cool purple leaves accented with a cranberry undercurrent. It is well known for its lovely foliage and brilliantly colorful flowers. It produces several clusters of bright pink, spidery blooms with narrow, twisted petals that are an inch long in the spring. The flowers have a mild fragrance. This diminutive evergreen shrub, which can withstand heat, adds a delicately lovely touch to tiny landscapes and containers.
