This selection of a bushy, semi-evergreen plant has lovely dusky-purple leaves. The erect plants produce striking yellow flowers in the middle of the summer, which are followed by decorative clusters of berries that turn from pink to crimson to black. outstanding in cut bouquets. beautiful effect of fall. Since new growth displays the greatest leaf color in the spring, trim back to 8 inches. A beautiful contrast plant for pots and containers that is worthwhile to cultivate even in less-hardy climates.
