Salvia nemorosa
An essential component of any sunny garden is salvia. It produces an abundant mass of multicolored flower spires from late spring into early summer with little more than sunshine and the occasional drink. Rabbits and deer do not like it, but it produces a uniform, spherical clump of scented, rugose green foliage that looks good all season.
