Due to the squeaky noises the leaves create when they are rubbed together, Bergenia is also known by the popular name Pigsqueak. 'Miss Piggy' is a fitting name for this new species in the Proven Winners perennial collection! The glossy, thick, dark green foliage are covered in a beautiful display of bright pink blossoms in the early spring. 'Miss Piggy' has broader, more robust leaves, a greater canopy of foliage, and more consistently pink flowers than 'Sakura'.
