A large, deep rose pink blossom measuring 8 inches across and featuring a ruby eye in the center distinguishes the compact and well-branched perennial Hibiscus moscheutos 'Luna Rose' from other varieties. The enormous flowers, which bloom constantly from mid-summer to early fall, are ornamented with prominent, projecting yellow stamens. Although each flower only lasts for one day, until the end of the season, new blossoms open each day in quick succession. The foliage of widely ovate, dark green leaves contrasts them attractively.
