Pennisetum alopercuriodes 'Piglet', a dwarf fountain grass, is the ideal plant for a tiny bed, a container garden, or to border a path or pathway. Green blades don't get much wider than a foot and remain compact. The blooms are creamy white in the summer and turn crispy wheat in the fall, lasting through most of the winter. Keep this little guy handy in containers at all times to enjoy the year-round display of shifting color and texture.
