The fiery red flowers of Crocosmia are truly eyecatching in the middle of the border in July and August. At 3’, the long-lasting flowers are complimented by sword-like foliage that does best in a sunny well-drained fertile soil. Provide this bulbous perennial with mulch in the winter while it strengthens its roots. Try it in the garden with Achillea ‘Moonshine’, Coreopsis ‘Moonbeam’ and white Liatris. Plant 24” apart.
